T.M.Lewin Christmas Gifting
Acting as the digital art director for the T.M.Lewin website I was tasked to create a beautiful engaging gifting campaign for Christmas. The brief was to design something that evoked the sense of luxury, quality and heritage of T.M.Lewin products. Working with a creative artworker (Raju Miah) we designed an immersive website take over that included a responsive micro site and numerous assets for all territories of the eCommerce site.
The Design Process
Working to tight deadlines and limited resources, I sketched out ideas and mocked up my designs for approval of budgets from the directors. We used the in-house photography studio and my trusted iphone to test out product combinations.
For the final images we created a small set with props from the Christmas window display. Together with a stylist I art directed the shots and instructed all retouching.
Traditionally a white background site, the strong dark moody images created a successful impact that was very different from previous online campaigns. Originally a online only campaign, the outcome of the photography was rolled out to instore POS and window displays.
